We were running for our lives, desperate to make just a moment last. Our hands were clasped so tight and never once did we think about letting go.
We hid form the sun, the moonlight was the only thing keeping us together.
Not a care in the world, not a thought or a fear. The excitement never died for as long as the stars were in the sky.
We were together then, and that was a lifetime to us. Never ending was the night and never ending was our young and reckless love.
Diving in together; that was how we took life, that was how we lived – and we knew no other way.
